"Max Luthert is fast becoming one of the most in demand younger generation jazz bassists/musicians in the UK, known for his solid bass lines and a big dark tone.
Max’s main project is the sax-led trio ‘Partikel’ which features Duncan Eagles on saxophone and Eric Ford on drums. He is also a member of the Ronnie Scotts house band, Andy Davies Quintet, Mark Perry Sextet and the Peter Edwards Trio as well as performing with a number of other small groups around London and the UK.  Luthert has performed at Ronnie Scotts, Pizza Express Jazz Club, 606 Club, The Bulls Head and The Kings Place with some of the most experienced musicians on the scene including Dave O Higgins, Lewis Wright, Alex Hutton, and Martin Shaw to name a few."
